Us + You = Tucson Carnaval Spring Festival
There are many ways to become involved with the community, culture and connectedness that is the Tucson Carnaval Spring Festival. Here’s what YOU can do!
1. Dance with Batucaxé
Beginning Tuesday, March 20, Batucaxé will hold a series of community dance workshops so that YOU can be a part of our Community Dance Ala (“wing”) in the Tucson Carnaval Festival processions!
At the event on Saturday, April 14, there will be two parades – one in the morning during the Children’s Museum Tucson Block Party at 200 S. 6th Avenue, and one in the evening during 2nd Saturdays Downtown. You are welcome to dance in one or both parades.
