The Carnaval Spring Festival 2012, which is presented by the Afro-Brazilian drum and dance ensemble, Batucaxé, the Children’s Museum Tucson and 2nd Saturdays Downtown, is on Saturday, April 14, 2012, in downtown Tucson, Arizona!

This event is FREE and fun for the entire community. Wear your Carnaval costume, beads, glitter, feathers and dress in PURPLE, then join us in the afternoon and again in the evening for the best Carnaval-style parades in Tucson!

The museum opens at 10:00am, and admission is FREE on April 14! From 10:00am – 2:00pm, enjoy activities including mask-making, workshops, mini-train rides, puppets, tile painting, and live performances!
